The Wedding

Saturday, August 15, 2026

at 4:00PM

2323 Farmer Rd, Julian, CA 92036

Our wedding will take place at Sacred Mountain Ranch in Julian, CA, located in the mountains east of San Diego.

Airports

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

This is the most convenient airport for traveling to Julian. The drive to the venue is approximately 1.5 hours.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Also an option, though less convenient. The drive typically takes 2.5–3.5 hours.

Transportation

We generally recommend renting a car or arranging a ride to get to Julian from the airport. If you have any concerns or questions about getting to Julian, please feel free to reach out. We’re happy to help however we can, including coordinating travel with other guests.

Once in town, you'll find that everything in downtown Julian is fairly close together. Most hotels, restaurants, cafés, and shops are within walking distance of one another. Our venue is approximately 1.5 miles (6 minute drive) from Julian’s downtown area, though we generally would not recommend walking since the route is fairly steep and not very accessible.

Please note that Uber and Lyft are generally unavailable in Julian. We are planning to arrange shuttle transportation to and from the venue, with pickup and drop-off points in the downtown Julian area, and will communicate details closer to the day.

The Bridesmaids

As told by Tea

Jess Skela

Jess is my sister, Maid of Honor, and basically the third party in my relationship with Steve. Our favorite activity is “juicing,” which is what we call analyzing a situation until we’ve squeezed every possible drop of meaning out of it and eventually converged on The Truth. Whether we’re pausing Love Island because we had the exact same reaction to whatever reality TV drama just unfolded, or reopening a topic Steve probably thought was settled hours ago, nothing feels fully processed until I’ve processed it with her.

Linda Chen

On my first day at Smith Middle School in 7th grade, Linda sat next to me in homeroom and, within a few minutes, declared in no uncertain terms that we were going to be friends. This was very on brand for someone confident enough to have a makeup tutorial YouTube channel in middle/high school with kind of a lot of subscribers. We later became college roommates, and I like to think my particular brand of chaos helped prepare her for life with her two adorable toddlers.

Jiola Paco

Jiola is my younger cousin (by almost a decade!), and I was completely obsessed with her when she was a baby—the cutest and chillest one alive. Now she’s graduating college and starting her master’s in social work, which is still hard for me to believe because I can so clearly remember her as that tiny little kid. She’s completely herself at all times, always having the most fun in the room, and was responsible for the majority of the quotable moments from my bachelorette weekend.

Jessica Hito

My North Carolina cousins always felt more like brothers to me growing up, so when my cousin George married Jessica, gaining her as family felt a lot like gaining a sister too. She’s brilliant, analytical, and extremely good at social deduction games, the kind where you have to figure out who the bad guy is while everyone tries to convince you it’s not them. Some of my favorite memories are game nights with Steve, Jessica, and George playing Bomb Squad, usually ending with all of us realizing she fooled us AGAIN.

Rachel Staub

Rachel was my first real friend in San Diego, thanks to a mutual friend who introduced us right before we started working at the same law firm. She makes friends everywhere she goes and has introduced me to nearly everyone I know in this city—truly the extrovert to my introvert. Despite working more than seems humanly possible (big law is a GRIND), she’s still an absolute ray of positivity and energy (picture speaks for itself).

Rachel Zuckowich

Rachel came into my life after Rachel S. met her on Bumble BFF, and from there our trio was born. Many girls trips later (Nashville weekends, Greece adventures), she’s become one of my favorite travel companions. She is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected, even in Solidcore classes that nearly take me out within the first five minutes. She’s also weirdly good at that game where you read gibberish out loud until it sounds like a real phrase.

The Groomsmen

As told by Steve

James Dills

Genetically speaking, I don't have a brother, but James (my best man) is as close as it gets. When he went off to the Air Force Academy not long after high school graduation, it really felt like a family member leaving. Growing up playing sports together, we were always on the same page and seemed to just get each other. We went on family vacations with each other's families as kids, and spent hundreds, if not thousands of hours, at each other's houses doing everything under the sun. He was the first person I told I was going to propose to Tea, and I performed a secret wedding ceremony (not a secret anymore) for him in Kyle's childhood bedroom.

Andre Ayala

The first time I ever stayed up for an entire night was at Andre's house as a kid for a sleepover, as we tried to beat NBA Street Vol. 2. We haven't stopped playing video games since, but our adventures together have taken many different shapes over the years—from an ice cream eating challenge (which we failed), to winning an on-court race at a Sacramento Kings game (which won us free Jimboy's tacos), to backpacking through Yosemite National Park. As we've grown up and our lives have changed, Andre has remained one of my closest friends. We still spend time laughing, sharing, and reminiscing about everything in our lives.

Shaun Kouriri

Shaun and I essentially moved to San Diego together 10 years ago, following our sisters’ lead after they both came here for college and never left. Shaun loves to respectfully play devil’s advocate. He’ll keep you on your toes and make you think a little harder about almost any topic you’re willing to discuss. Shaun and I have done too many things together to even remember all of them. Virtually any type of sporting event you can think of, we have been to or watched together. We've seen dozens of movies, tested out a myriad of bars, and taken long road trips throughout California, Arizona and Oregon. Shaun is still to this day the only person I have ever seen get a hole-in-one in golf.

Robert Campagnone

Almost three years ago, Robert got married and I had the honor of officiating his wedding. Way before that, Robert and I had plans to travel all over the country and potentially the world. We managed to make it to Austin, Texas before the whole world shut down in 2020. Even though we live far apart, every time I see Robert, it's like I just saw him yesterday. We never miss a beat. We spent countless hours at his house in college, met Isaiah Thomas together, and explored all over downtown Sacramento and Davis.

Justin Wilson

Do not tempt JD with a good time. Would you play 54 holes of golf in three days and then fly to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League....well, we would. Have you seen BattleBots live? We have. Have you spent hours quizzing yourselves on obscure early-to-mid-2000s NBA stats? Well, you guessed it: we have. As long as JD and I have been friends, he has always shown up for me. He has shown time and time again how much our friendship means to him, and that he genuinely wants the best for me, independent of anything else.

Kyle Harrison

Kyle is the only person I know who is brave enough to try open mic night stand up comedy. We grew up just three houses away from each other and would often swim in each other's pools and play basketball in each other's yards. Kyle has turned me onto movies, shows and comedians I would have never otherwise come across. In the only charity event I have ever taken part in, Kyle and I rode our bikes from San Francisco to Sonoma State. I am still not sure what the cause we were riding for was, but I was assured it was for charity.

Add invited guest

Your presence at our wedding is truly more than enough, and we’re so excited to celebrate together.

If you’d like to give a gift, we’ve put together a registry with a mix of things we love. It’s intentionally on the smaller side, since we've collected a lot of what we need for our home over the past few years. We’ve also included a honeymoon fund as another option.

FAQs

How do I RSVP?

Our RSVP form will be available on this site about three months prior to the wedding date (when guests will receive their formal invitations). Check back here then!

Are children invited?

We’ll have a small group of children from our families attending, but we’re unable to accommodate additional little ones. Thank you for understanding!

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Both ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. In August, Julian typically sees warm daytime highs around 85°F and cooler evening lows near 60°F. Rain is very rare this time of year, but we will have tent coverage available should the weather surprise us.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail attire. Please note that the ceremony will take place on grass, and our outdoor reception space includes multiple levels with stairs between the dinner area and dance floor. We recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable and easy to walk in.

Is the venue accessible?

Because our celebration space is multi-level, we’ll have golf carts on hand to help guests comfortably get between areas as needed.

Are there any accommodations nearby?

Yes! We’ve listed several options on the Accommodations page. Julian is a small town, so most places are just a short drive from the venue—for example, Orchard Hill and Julian Lodge are both only about 1.5 miles away.

How should we address you two after the wedding?

Tea Skela and Steve Corrigan. No need to update your contacts! 😌
